However, being within walking distance or a short drive to most of Stowe’s popular wedding venues, we are often offered as an affordable alternative to accommodate people’s guests.

There are many ways to do this. Sometimes the happy couple block-book the whole lodge themselves, which gives them 8 bedrooms to provide to their guests. This option sleeps up to 17 people when every bed space is utilized.
In these circumstances the guests get exclusive use of the fireside lounge and the games area, which includes a pool table.

Sometimes we are simply offered as one of a list of local accommodations, so guests have a choice of different types of places to stay according to their budget.
